Enquiry for Tridge Pay Escrow Service — Uganda Green Coffee Shipment Dear Tridge Pay Commerc We are writing to enquire about your escrow service for our physical green coffee transaction between a buyer based in Hong Kong and a coffee exporter in Uganda. Transaction Overview Commodity: Uganda Robusta green coffee Inspection arrangement: Cargo will be loaded and shipped from Uganda. After the consignment arrives at Hong Kong port, quality testing will be performed by an independent laboratory in Hong Kong. Payment shall be released to the Ugandan exporter only upon satisfactory lab inspection result. Key requirements we need to confirm 1. Proof of funds for Uganda export authority Before shipment, we require your official signed fund confirmation letter to be submitted to Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) and Uganda Coffee Development Authority (UCDA) to fulfil local tax and export clearance requirements. Please confirm whether your document is acceptable for these government bodies. 2. Custom payment release trigger We need to customise the release condition: funds are to be released to the seller only after the independent Hong Kong laboratory issues a test report meeting the pre‑agreed specification, including screen size, moisture content and defect tolerance as stated in the sales and purchase agreement. 3. Automatic release deadline Please confirm we can insert a hard cut‑off clause. If the buyer fails to complete inspection and raise any quality dispute within an agreed number of calendar days after cargo arrival, the escrow fund will automatically be released to the exporter without further action from the buyer. 4. Governing law Confirm the escrow agreement can be governed under Hong Kong law. 5. Fund settlement & forex traceability After release, funds will be remitted directly to the exporter’s bank account in Uganda. We need full transaction traceability to satisfy Uganda’s foreign exchange repatriation rules. 6. Fees and KYC Kindly advise the service fee percentage, clarify whether the fee can be allocated to buyer, seller or split between both parties. Also share the full KYC document checklist for both the Hong Kong buyer and the Ugandan exporter and the expected turnaround time for verification.
